My Personality: I am a business entrepreneur, with an artistic background. During my university studies, I supported myself by teaching guitar. Then, for 19 years I was a professional stage/TV actor in NYC and Hollywood. (I was never famous...but my family saw me on TV 4-5 times every week.) After that, I created a yacht-importing business for 18 years. Then (2008) I began designing and building elegant little “floating-home houseboats.” (see photo #7). I am curious, creative (sometimes bordering on "smart"...smile). I`ve also written several successful non-fiction books. I`m a respectful, trustworthy, amusing, and easy-going gentleman. (I don`t yell or take drugs; I haven`t been drunk since I was 22; and I believe in talking about problems instead of shouting or fighting). I enjoy reading, writing, cooking, traveling, and cultural events (theater, movies, concerts, ballet).
I`m especially fond of travel. I`ve visited Europe 45 times. During January-March (2019), I trekked the Algarve (Portugal`s southern shore--in winter, the warmest region in all of eastern and western Europe). In October I toured Peru, then spent November in Hawaii. January-March, 2020, I lived on Tenerife island (one of Spain`s Canary islands). I LOVED IT. So much so that I moved there, December, 2021, for 1-year: a pleasant, 2-bedroom apartment next to the sea (beautiful view!). I`m semi-retired. Alas, I`m not rich--but my future partner and I can enjoy a pleasant life without working.

My Interests: If the weather`s good, I like walking, boating and bicycling. I love movies, theater, and reading (I have written 3, published boating books; I wrote and illustrated my newest book (photo #10). I like children, their joy and spontaneity. Also, I enjoy 1 or 2-day drives from my home. I enjoy longer travels, too, both inside and outside of the U.S. I am a good cook. And I enjoy my 2, big, Labrador-type, rescue-dogs (photo #9).
